Here in La right now the water is heating up and so is the speck fishing! Pretty much anywhere you can find current you can find the fish right now. A few good places to try are all around grand isle, cocodrie and any of the platforms and rigs in water 6 to 30 ft deep. Best baits are live shrimp or chubs under a popping cork. Good fishing to all!
