Details:Hit some rubble piles South of Pascagoula. The snapper were all too eager to jump in the box. Largest went between 25-30lbs, but most went in the 10-15lb category. Any bait that went down was almost instantly inhaled..squid, pogy, dines. We even caught a couple on float lines that we had out for kings! Ended up trolling a bit and catching some kings and spanish. We did have a unusuall catch for 60ft deep water....4 mahi showed up all of them around 20-25lbs or so...ended up catching one on a floatline, and hooked and lost another on a quickly thrown sardine. Fun stuff! The water was beautifully clear and the 3-4ft seas we had in the morning laid down to 1-2's despite the forcast for the ride home.
